You do one form. I do the rest.
And it's a really short form. It asks the right questions for your situation, then I do everything else: the paperwork, the sending and the chasing.
£45, one-off. Everything included, whatever you need.

The short version
You do one form. I do the rest of the admin.
-
1
Fill in one form
Your names, your reason, and who needs to know.
-
2
I prepare everything
Your DVLA pack, your deed poll if you need one, and every update.
-
3
I send it all off
To every organisation you picked. I chase anything that comes back.
Whatever you've got, it's sorted
The form works out your route for you. Same £45 either way.
- Got proof? Send me a photo. That's it. Take a photo of your marriage certificate or other proof on your phone and upload it on the form. No scanning, nothing in the post.
- No proof, or lost it? I'll make you a deed poll. Lost your certificate, never had one, or changing it just because? Your deed poll's included. Sign it with a witness and send me a photo.
- Divorcing or separated? You don't have to wait. You don't need to wait for your divorce to finish. Once you've separated, go back to your old name whenever you're ready. Deed poll included.
Married? You get a free backup deed poll too, so if you've only got one certificate and it's on holiday with the DVLA, you've still got proof.
Not sure which one's you? Take the 30-second proof check →
Every step, start to finish
Three of these are yours, and they're quick. The rest is me.
- Your bit
Fill in the form and pay
Your names, your reason and who needs to know. The form tells you anything else as you go. Pay £45 and that's the hard bit done.
- My bit
Your welcome email and Letter of Authority
Your welcome email lands straight away, followed by your Letter of Authority so I can update things on your behalf.
- Your bit
Sign your Letter of Authority
On screen, with your finger or mouse. It takes seconds.
- My bit
I build your DVLA pack
The right forms, filled in. Envelopes addressed and stamped. An instruction pack with exactly what to do. Lost your licence or V5C? I add what you need for new ones.
- My bit (if you need one)
I prepare your deed poll
Plus a supplement pack, so the DVLA has everything it needs. It all comes in the post to you.
- My bit
I prepare your updates
For every organisation you picked, pulled straight from your form. Nothing gets retyped.
- Your bit
Follow your pack
It's all in the instructions. Got a deed poll? Sign it with a witness and send me a photo. Then post your pack.
- My bit
I send everything off
Your new name goes out quickly. Where I can, I copy you in, so you can see what's been sent.
- My bit
I chase anything that comes back
And I keep you in the loop the whole way. If I've made a mistake, I fix it for free.
and that's your name changed
What's in your DVLA pack
The DVLA still wants your licence in the post, so I send you a pack that's ready to go. It's the only thing you'll post.
What I put in
- Step-by-step instructions
- Your D1 form, if you're updating your licence
- Your deed polls, as many as your situation needs
- One or two envelopes, addressed and stamped
What you do
- Follow the instructions
- Post it
Not changing your licence? No pack. If you need a deed poll, it comes on its own.
Things you'll never have to do
The bit everyone puts off. None of it lands on you.
- Post me your documents Nothing goes in the post to me. A phone photo is fine.
- Type the same details nine times One form, and everything's pulled from that.
- Hunt down the right forms Who needs telling, which form, which address. Already worked out.
- Chase anyone If something comes back, I chase it and keep you in the loop.
Questions about how it works
Anything else? Email hello@mynamechanged.com or DM me on Instagram or TikTok.
How long does it take?
The form takes about five minutes. Your welcome email arrives straight away and everything else goes out quickly. After that, each organisation updates its records on its own timeline.
Do I need to post you anything?
No. Nothing goes in the post to me. If I need to see your proof, a phone photo is fine.
I've lost my marriage certificate. Can I still do it?
Yes. Just say you haven't got proof on the form and I'll prepare a deed poll for you instead. It's included in the £45. Want a copy anyway? Here's how to order one →
Do I have to wait until my divorce is finished?
No. Once you've separated, you can go back to your old name whenever you're ready. It's done with a deed poll, and that's included.
Do I need a reason to change my name?
No. Marriage, divorce, family, in memory of someone, or just because. Every reason's a good one.
What do I do with my DVLA pack?
Follow the instructions inside. They tell you exactly what goes in which envelope. Then post it.
Can I add an organisation later?
Yes. Not sure about one yet, like your water company? Leave it off and email me when you know. Still £45.
Who can use it?
Anyone 18 or over in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland. In Northern Ireland there are two exceptions for now: I can only update DVLA driving licences (not ones issued in Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland), and I don't update rates with NI Direct yet.
What if I get stuck?
Email or DM me any time. It's just me, not a call centre, and I'll get back to you as soon as I physically can.
