If I get something wrong in your paperwork, I fix it and send it again. No extra charge, no arguing about it.

Typo in your name, wrong form, something missed off? I correct it and resend it for free.
- It goes exactly as you typed it.
Everything except the DVLA form is copied or pulled straight from what you put in the form, so I'm not retyping your details. That's why the form asks you to double-check your names and date of birth before you send it.
- Rejected for another reason?
Organisations sometimes push back on things that aren't anyone's fault. I'll chase it up, keep you copied in and do my best to get it sorted.
The exact wording
What's covered.
If an organisation rejects, returns or asks for corrected paperwork because of an error in something My Name Changed prepared for you, we will correct the affected paperwork at no additional charge.
This includes errors such as:
- information being copied incorrectly by us
- the wrong form, letter or document being prepared
- required information being omitted from paperwork we prepared
- incorrect instructions being provided by us
- replacement paperwork being required because of an error in our work
Where necessary, we will also prepare and send replacement paperwork or a replacement pack at no additional cost.
What isn't covered.
The Free-Fix Promise does not apply where the issue is caused by:
- incorrect or incomplete information supplied by you
- a change to your details or instructions after we have completed the work
- paperwork not being signed, completed or submitted as instructed
- documents or post being lost or delayed by a third party
- processing delays or decisions made by the organisation receiving the update
- documents or evidence required from you not being provided
Extra fees.
If an error made by My Name Changed directly causes you to incur an unavoidable additional fee from an organisation, please contact us. Where the fee is a direct result of our error, we will reimburse the reasonable evidenced cost.
